At Wild Child Dog Training, we understand every dog is unique, and challenging behaviors like aggression, anxiety, or reactivity require personalized solutions. Our expert behavior modification programs help you and your dog overcome obstacles and build a positive, balanced relationship.

Why Our Behavior Modification?

Proven expertise: Sydney and our team hold competitive titles across multiple venues, have rehabilitated dogs nationwide, and have trained other professionals to reach their personal and career goals.

Focused, personalized care: We limit enrollment to ensure each dog receives individualized attention tailored to temperament, personality, and your handling skills.

Real-world results: Training starts in low-distraction settings and progresses to real-life situations — home routines, public outings, small-animal interactions, and more.

Certified, insured, and trusted: Fully insured and affiliated with the American Kennel Club, United Schutzhund Clubs of America, International Association of Canine Professionals, and the Better Business Bureau.

Positive, purpose-driven training: We use diverse, science-based techniques to provide structure, mental engagement, and clear expectations that align with your goals.

Relationship-focused: Our approach builds trust, understanding, and mutual enjoyment between you and your dog for lasting success.

Root-cause approach: Our trainers identify underlying triggers and develop personalized plans that promote lasting change rather than simply masking symptoms.

Positive association & purpose: By fostering positive associations and purposeful activities, we help dogs overcome issues and regain confidence, improving life for both dog and owner.

  • Dogs stay on Sydney’s property in private, temperature-controlled runs equipped with video surveillance. Throughout the day, they are walked and played with on our 10-acre facility, which features a pond, an indoor training building, and a covered arena with agility equipment. During rest periods, each dog has access to their own outdoor run where they can sniff, socialize, or enjoy their favorite chew bone. All kennels are cleaned daily and always stocked with fresh water. Indoor kennels are monitored using a temperature device called Waggle. Each day, dogs receive their proper meals, any necessary medications, a daily chew, a complimentary lavender wipe-down, and fresh bedding. We firmly believe that dogs learn best when calm, so we go the extra mile to meet every dog’s needs and ensure a relaxing and enjoyable stay.
