When a dog learns biting stops a behavior you can not correct that behavior out of the dog. It has to start with a new reaction which includes no reaction at all. Once no reaction is there and a relationship is established then you can guide the dog accordingly, and sometimes that does mean reinforcement is needed but never in an emotional context. Anyways, here is Leo and I use bite gloves to talk and walk him through the process, not allowing his old tactics to work.
